About the position

The MedSurg RN position at Gifted Healthcare involves providing bedside care to a diverse patient population, executing individualized patient assessments, and creating tailored care plans. The role includes preparing equipment and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients.
• Execute individualized patient assessments to create a personalized plan of care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Initiate alternative actions when adverse symptoms are displayed.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs when necessary.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Experience in MedSurg nursing or a related field.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
