Focus Staff is seeking a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Stockbridge, Georgia. The role involves operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. The MRI Technologist will work under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, exercising independent judgment and initiative to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and patient safety. The contract assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks, with a schedule of 36 hours per week, specifically during the night shift (3x12). Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols, as well as a compassionate approach to patient care. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, able to act swiftly in emergencies, and will have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. In addition to technical skills, the MRI Technologist will be responsible for ensuring patient safety by explaining safety protocols, monitoring patients, and training new hires and students.
