About the position
Aureus Medical Group is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 17-week assignment in Michigan City, Indiana. This role involves working in a community hospital setting, primarily focusing on MRI imaging. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment according to safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Requirements
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- State License as a Radiology Technologist in Indiana.
- ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR).
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with GE Artist 1.5 T and Hitachi 1.2T MRI machines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and occasional weekends.
