About the position
The Travel MRI Technologist position involves taking medical images of patients using magnetic resonance imaging technology for diagnostic purposes. This role is essential in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and outpatient centers, where the technologist prepares patients, operates MRI machines, and processes images for radiologists and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures.
- Operate MRI technology to capture medical images.
- Process MRI images for review by radiologists and physicians.
- Maintain and handle patient records.
- Utilize other radiologic equipment such as CTs and X-rays as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
