As an MRI Technologist with Cross Country Allied, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by capturing medical images of patients using advanced magnetic resonance imaging technology. This travel position is based in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and is designed for professionals who are eager to explore new environments while providing essential diagnostic services. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for MRI procedures, operating MRI machines, processing images for review by radiologists and physicians, and managing patient records. In this role, you will work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, outpatient centers, private practices, and imaging centers. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Operate MRI machines to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Process and analyze MRI images for review by radiologists and physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Utilize additional radiologic equipment such as CT scanners and X-ray machines as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist.
  • ARRT Certification is required.
  • BLS Certification (AHA) is mandatory.
  • Current state license (if applicable) is necessary.
