About the position
Core Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist to provide imaging services in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves working under the direction of a Radiologist and adhering to departmental protocols to deliver timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekend and holiday rotations, and the ability to respond to on-call duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient under the direction of a Radiologist.
- Change imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without the use of contrast media.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required.
- Respond to on-call duties with a 30-minute response time.
Requirements
- Must have ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification.
- Experience with Toshiba (Canon) Titan 1.5T MRI Unit.
- Ability to care for COVID-19 patients.
- Epic experience is required.
- Preferred: Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Preferred: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT and maintains a State License as a general radiographer.
