Genie Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled travel MRI Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans on patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging services that are crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The role requires a commitment to excellence in patient care, as you will be interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in operating Siemens MRI scanners and possess the necessary certifications, including ARRT and BLS. The position is structured as a travel assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a standard workweek of 40 hours, typically consisting of five 8-hour shifts during the day. Flexibility in scheduling is a plus, as weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on facility needs. Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans on patients using Siemens scanners.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to MRI procedures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the imaging department.
  • Assist with IV starts as needed for contrast administration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist for travelers.
  • Current ARRT certification or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification.
  • BLS Certification is required.
  • Experience with Siemens MRI scanners is essential.
  • Proficiency in IV starts.
