Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing critical thinking skills to provide appropriate interventions.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Adapt quickly to new environments, working effectively with diverse teams in various healthcare settings.
Requirements
- Valid BLS Certification
- C-EFM Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- Experience in Pediatric critical & intensive care
- Proficient in Inpatient care practices
- Knowledgeable in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with Ophthalmology procedures and protocols
- Experience in Critical Care Transport
- Competent in Toddler Care
- Skilled in Emergency Medicine
- Experience in Outpatient care settings
- Strong Health Coaching abilities
- Proficient in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing practices
