About the position
Nomad Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatry registered nurse for a travel assignment in Clinton, MA. As a travel nurse with Nomad, you will receive support from the Nomad Navigator team to help you transition smoothly into your assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients during the travel assignment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of RN experience.
- One year of Psychiatry experience within the last two years as an RN.
- Active RN license or willingness to obtain a Registered Nurse license in MA.
- RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program.
- BLS and all relevant Psychiatry/department-specific certifications required.
