The role involves performing critical procedures such as angioplasties and pacemaker implants, while providing care for patients with heart conditions. The position requires a commitment to patient monitoring and assisting physicians during invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform angioplasties and implant pacemakers.
• Diagnose cardiac conditions using invasive catheterization procedures.
• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients.
• Obtain visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages and assist the physician during procedures.
• Monitor the patient's status during and after procedures.
• Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations and related diagnostics.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting
