About the position
MedWave Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiology for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. This role offers an opportunity for nurses to enhance their skills while traveling and earning competitive compensation. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Cardiology unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of Oregon or ability to obtain one.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Cardiology nursing is a plus.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
