About the position

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardio Vascular ICU Registered Nurse (CVCU RN) for a 13-week assignment in Arlington, TX. This position is designed for healthcare professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality care in a critical care environment. As a CVCU RN, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, monitoring their vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in the Cardio Vascular ICU setting, and will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. You will be expected to assess patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and respond promptly to emergencies. Additionally, you will provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them understand their conditions and treatment options. This position requires a high level of critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The assignment is set to begin on August 25, 2024, and offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $1,575 to $1,680 gross weekly, based on an estimated 36 hours of work per week. Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardio Vascular ICU.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate and support patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of recent CVCU Registered Nurse experience in the last 18 months.
  • Active Registered Nurse License or Certification required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
