Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in CVOR or surgical nursing is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including mid-day hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments and teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- BLS certification.
