RNnetwork is seeking a travel nurse RN Day Surgery for a travel nursing job in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Manage the intense environment of the operating room effectively.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure successful patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during surgeries.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois or compact state license.
- Experience in operating room nursing, particularly in day surgery.
- Ability to work day shifts from 6:30 am to 3 pm, five days a week.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
