Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient conditions and determine necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Maine or compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with trauma care and critical care nursing.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
