About the position
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Boca Raton, Florida. This position is for a travel nurse specializing in Endoscopy, requiring an active RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program. The role involves working 36 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift, with a contract duration of 13 weeks starting on September 16, 2024. Endoscopy Nurses (RNs) are registered nurses with expertise in Endoscopy, possessing a deep understanding of physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and the pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia. The responsibilities include performing ongoing assessments and data collection, focusing on the physiological, psychobiological, and cognitive needs of patients and their families. The RN will provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practices and maintaining personal contact with patients and relatives, being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity, and privacy. Additionally, the Endoscopy RN will be responsible for storing, checking, and administering medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines, maintaining timely and accurate nursing records while ensuring confidentiality is respected. The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, patient admissions, recovery, and other related procedures. Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing assessments and data collection focusing on the physiological, psychobiological, and cognitive needs of patients and families.

Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting
