About the position

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for providing high-quality care and advanced monitoring for patients with complex and high-risk conditions. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care and adherence to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and advanced monitoring for patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage patients experiencing complex and high-risk conditions.
• Utilize advanced knowledge and experience in assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ensure readiness for holiday coverage as needed.
• Adhere to the policies and protocols of the healthcare facility.
• Demonstrate strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with ICU standards and practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care nursing.
• Current unencumbered RN license required.
• Certifications: Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Evidence of critical care training with recent experience in critical care preferred.
