About the position
Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel nursing position in Pecos, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in critical condition, working 12-hour shifts over a 13-week duration. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
