About the position

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week assignment in Marion, South Carolina. This role involves providing acute care nursing services in a critical care environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• 1 full year of RN experience required.
• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Additional certifications may be required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
