HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. As a Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring their conditions, and implementing treatment plans as directed by physicians. You will also be expected to educate patients and their families about health conditions and provide support during their recovery process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, with at least one year of acute care experience in a hospital setting. You will need to have a current state nursing license and appropriate certifications for the ICU specialty. This position offers a competitive pay package of $1,947 per week, guaranteed hours, and the option for weekly direct deposit. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Implement treatment plans as directed by physicians and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and recovery processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum 1-year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current State Nursing License.
  • Appropriate certifications for the ICU specialty.
