Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Newport, Vermont. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing essential care to patients during labor and delivery. The position offers a supportive environment with a dedicated recruiter to assist with job placement, housing, and other needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Vermont or compact state.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies.
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
