About the position

TravelNurseSource is collaborating with GO Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in Winchester, Virginia. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $2,060 per week for a 12-hour night shift. The ideal candidate must possess at least two years of current Labor and Delivery experience, hold an active RN license, and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required by the American Heart Association. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification if required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
