About the position

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Long Term Acute Care for a 13-week assignment in Oro Valley, Arizona. This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. The role involves providing acute care nursing services and requires a valid RN license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Long Term Acute Care setting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• 1 full year of RN experience required.
• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
