About the position
Focus Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Long Term Care for a contract position in Florence, Arizona. The role involves providing nursing care in a long-term care setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care while traveling. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and be ready to start on November 18, 2024, for a duration of 6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist with daily living activities for patients as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care setting.
- Valid Arizona RN License (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS certification (preferred).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Additional certifications in geriatric care.
