About the position
Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Long Term Care for a 13-week assignment in Montpelier, Vermont. This role involves providing nursing care in a rehabilitation and nursing facility, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care while traveling across the United States. The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to new environments, as well as a commitment to patient care during the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Long Term Care setting.
- Work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) is mandatory.
- BLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required prior to starting.
- Flu and Covid vaccinations or declinations must be included for submission.
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Must apply for Vermont temporary license upon confirmation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to explain employment gaps over 30 days.
