About the position
Stability Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. This role involves working 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, providing essential nursing care in a medical-surgical setting. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor patient health and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
- Respond to patient needs and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with travel nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
