Health Advocates Network is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical for a contract position in Zanesville, Ohio. This role requires a dedicated professional to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on telemetry and stepdown nursing. The position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work night shifts on a travel basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records (Epic EMR).
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Active OH/COMPACT State Registered Nurse License
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficiency in Epic EMR
- Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Additional certifications may be required
