About the position
CrossMed is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marysville, California. This position involves providing and coordinating patient care in a medical-surgical setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services while traveling to various locations. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage patient care effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on unit.
- Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transport patients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At minimum 1 - 2 years' experience preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school.
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
- Physical abilities - remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling.
