About the position

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for a Med/Surg unit, primarily working night shifts. This role involves providing nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, with a focus on patient safety and quality care. The position is for a duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension, and requires the nurse to float to other areas of the hospital as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a medical-surgical unit.
• Float to other areas of the hospital as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• KY/Compact License
• 2 years of nursing experience
• EPIC experience
• Diploma in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• IV Certification (preferred)
• 2 years previous med-surge experience (preferred)

• Experience in floating to different hospital units
