Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina or compact state.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
