About the position

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This role involves providing acute care nursing services, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in Med Surg / Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• 1 full year of RN experience required.
• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP are preferred.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
