About the position
Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Moberly, Missouri. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in Med Surg / Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
- 1 full year of RN experience required.
- Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
