Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Oncology for a 13-week assignment in Onancock, Virginia. The role involves providing care in an outpatient oncology setting, with a focus on infusion services. The position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, primarily during the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and care procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Valid Virginia RN License
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient oncology experience
• Experience with Beacon and Epic systems
• BLS certification
• ONS certification
• COVID-19 vaccination (not required by facility)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in outpatient infusion oncology
• Familiarity with facility guidelines regarding vaccinations
