About the position
Core Medical Group is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Operating Room (OR) for a travel nursing position in Visalia, California. This role involves working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center, providing essential nursing care during surgical procedures. The position is designed for a dedicated professional looking to explore California while contributing to patient care in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
- Ensure a sterile environment and maintain surgical instruments.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California.
- Experience in Operating Room nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
