About the position

Core Medical Group is seeking a travel nurse RNOR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Winchester, Virginia. This position involves working in the Operating Room, specifically in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Ensure a sterile environment and maintain surgical instruments.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Virginia or compact state.
• Experience in Operating Room nursing, specifically CVOR.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, from 07:00 to 19:00.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
