This role involves providing care to patients in a step-down unit, requiring specialized nursing skills and certifications. The position is for a duration of 5 weeks, with a focus on night shifts and a commitment of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Maryland.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience in a step-down or progressive care unit.
