About the position
Stability Healthcare is looking for a dedicated travel nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join their team for a travel nursing position in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in critical condition, ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay. The position offers a competitive pay package, including a travel bonus and health insurance starting on the first day of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Texas or compact state.
- Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) nursing.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- BLS and PALS certifications.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
