The position is for a duration of 13 weeks, requiring 36 hours of work per week, primarily during 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
- Work three to four 12-hour night shifts per week, ensuring a 36/48-hour weekly guarantee.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar acute psychiatric setting.
- Current Pennsylvania RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in travel nursing.
- Additional certifications in psychiatric nursing.
