About the position

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Skilled Nursing for a travel nursing position in Winchester, Tennessee. The position is set to start on July 15, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient health and progress, documenting any changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in skilled nursing or a related field.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
