About the position
Anders Group is seeking a travel nurse RN for the System Float ICU at Yale New Haven Health System. This position involves providing high-quality care in the Intensive Care Unit, with a focus on patient-centered service. The role is designed for experienced nurses who are adaptable and ready to work in various settings within the ICU, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with travel nursing.
- Certification in critical care nursing (CCRN).
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
