About the position
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Telemetry for a 10-week travel nursing position in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state.
- 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a busy Level 1 Trauma hospital.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
Nice-to-haves
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with patient floating in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
