Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
  • Current RN license in the state of Washington.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic health record systems.
  • Previous travel nursing experience.
  • Specialized certifications in critical care or telemetry nursing.
