About the position
Core Medical Group is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Telemetry PCU (Progressive Care Unit) for a 13-week assignment in Rutland, Vermont. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting, focusing on telemetry monitoring and patient management.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Telemetry PCU.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Vermont or compact state.
- Experience in Telemetry or Progressive Care nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a travel nursing schedule.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Certification in Telemetry or Progressive Care nursing.
