Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
  • Monitor and assess the health of mothers and their babies during the postpartum period.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate new parents on infant care and postpartum recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of current postpartum nursing experience.
  • Previous couplet care experience is required.
  • Travel nursing experience is required.
  • Valid Massachusetts RN license is mandatory.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Experience in mother/baby care is essential.
