About the position
Anders Group is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a critical care setting, working 12-hour shifts during the day. The position is designed for registered nurses who are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare while enjoying the benefits of travel nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or compact state.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications in critical care nursing (CCRN) preferred.
