Responsibilities
- Provide care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status during labor.
- Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns.
- Educate and support mothers regarding postpartum care and newborn care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Ability to work flexible hours and varied shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
