About the position

Next Move Inc is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Rehabilitation for a travel nursing position in Winchester, Tennessee. This role is designed for a registered nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients undergoing rehabilitation. The position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate and effective nursing care, ensuring that patients receive the support they need during their recovery process. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, adapting to different environments and patient needs while gaining valuable experience in the field of rehabilitation nursing. The travel nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be expected to monitor patient progress, provide education to patients and their families, and advocate for patient needs throughout their rehabilitation journey. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients while enjoying the flexibility and adventure that comes with travel nursing. This travel nursing position is set to start on September 16, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. The shifts will be 12 hours long, primarily during the day, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. As a travel nurse, you will receive a competitive pay package based on your shifts and hours worked, along with a tax-free stipend that will be determined upon confirmation of your employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
  • Experience in rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and commit to a 13-week assignment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in rehabilitation nursing (CRRN) is a plus.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
