About the position

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Certified Labor & Delivery RN for a travel nursing job in Winchester, Massachusetts. This position involves assessing, implementing or delegating, planning, and evaluating total nursing care in accordance with established philosophy, providing and directing patient care for a group of patients. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with other shifts and departments to ensure optimal continuity of care. The traveling nurse will also provide clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assist in their development. This is a contract assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a flexible schedule of 36 hours per week, typically in 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, along with compassion and sensitivity, which are prerequisites for the profession. Critical thinking and the ability to act quickly in emergencies are also essential traits for success in this role. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN and should exhibit excellent communication and listening skills. They should be team players, willing to assist others when needed, and maintain a positive attitude toward work and colleagues. The position requires the ability to perform routine duties independently while consulting with others as necessary. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN (Certified Labor & Delivery RN).
