About the position

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Step-Down unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of RN experience.
- One year of Step-Down experience within the last two years as an RN.
- Active RN license or willingness to obtain a Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
- RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program.
- BLS and all relevant Step-Down/department-specific certifications required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in other nursing specialties such as ICU or Telemetry.
- Additional certifications relevant to Step-Down nursing.
