Responsibilities

• Care for patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist the surgeon in procedures.

• Coordinate with medical team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Create and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative education.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in an operating room setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR).
• Experience with specific surgical procedures or specialties.
